New York High School Football - Whitesboro edges New Hartford
September 30, 2005: New Hartford, NY 13413 Whitesboro Warriors (Marcy, NY) fans were pleased Friday as they witnessed their football team edge the host New Hartford Spartans (New Hartford, NY), 14-12 in a league game.
The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Camden (Camden, NY). The Blue Devils enter the Section 3 Class A National game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Camden was edged by Carthage (Camden, NY), 37-7, in a league game.
Next up, the Spartans meet the Watertown Cyclones (Watertown, NY) in a Section 3 Class A National game, on Friday, October 7. New Hartford will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Cyclones enter the game with a 4-1 record after their 22-21 league loss to Carthage (Watertown, NY).
