The Marcus Marauders football squad scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Boyd Broncos to 28 in the Marauders non-league victory on Friday.

The Marauders now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waxahachie for a non-league battle on Friday, September 14. Marcus will face a Indians squad coming off a 48-7 non-league loss to Poteet (Mesquite, TX). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Broncos face the Lewisville Farmers (Lewisville, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 13. Boyd will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Farmers enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 14-13 non-league win over Sam Houston (Arlington, TX).
