Adrian Maples (Adrian, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Western Panthers (Parma, MI), 49-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Adrian upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season.

Next up, the Panthers play the Olivet Eagles (Olivet, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 4. Western will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 13-12 record after their 60-41 non-league win over Homer (Homer, MI).
