Virginia High School Basketball - North Cross overwhelms Covenant

February 5, 2015: Roanoke, VA 24018

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) and the visiting Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), saw North Cross's basketball squad wallop Covenant by a tally of 45-24.

With the victory, North Cross improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Raiders host Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 7. Covenant will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 61-43 non-league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
