Iowa High School Basketball - Charles City holds off Osage
January 19, 2019: Osage, IA 50461 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Charles City Comets (Charles City, IA) and the host Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA), saw Charles City's basketball squad hold off Osage by a tally of 55-52.
With the victory, Charles City improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Comets host Oelwein (Oelwein, IA) to confront the Huskies in a Northeast Iowa challenge on Friday, January 25. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 11-3.
Next up, the Green Devils confront the North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 21. Osage will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record.
