Arizona High School Basketball - Rincon/University can't hold off Sahuaro

The Sahuaro Cougars basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Rincon/University Rangers to 45 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ironwood Ridge for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 11. Sahuaro will battle a Nighthawks team coming off a 77-75 league win over Nogales (Nogales, AZ). The Nighthawks record now stands at 4-5.

The Rangers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ). The Red Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record.
