The Yuma Catholic Shamrocks held off the host Laughlin Cougars volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Shamrocks now have a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee Williams for a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. Yuma Catholic will confront a Volunteers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over River Valley (Mohave Valley, AZ). The Volunteers record now stands at 2-0.
