Virginia High School Lacrosse - Washington-Lee drops to Yorktown
April 26, 2019: Arlington, VA 22201 Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Washington-Lee Generals (Arlington, VA), 14-2 in a league battle.
The Patriots now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host South Lakes for a 6A Conference 6 battle on Friday, May 3. Yorktown will clash with a Seahawks squad coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Chantilly (Chantilly, VA). The Seahawks record now stands at 7-3.
In their next game, the Generals clash with the T.C. Williams Titans (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 29. Washington-Lee will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Titans come into the battle with a 7-5 record after their 21-1 non-league win over Lee (Springfield, VA).
