Arizona High School Football - Willow Canyon defeats Desert Mountain
October 14, 2011: Scottsdale, AZ 85259 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Willow Canyon Wildcats football squad scored a good 48-23 victory over the Desert Mountain Wolves.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 21. Willow Canyon will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Stallions enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 13-6 league win over Dysart (El Mirage, AZ).
The Wolves (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Pioneers enter the I Section III match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, Pinnacle ran past Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ), 42-17, in a league match.
