The San Benito Greyhounds routed the host Edinburg Bobcats softball squad by a count of 16-8 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Greyhounds (15-9) will now prepare for their battle against United (Laredo, TX). The Longhorns go into the non-league battle with a 20-13 record. In their last battle, United topped McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
