The Sage Ridge Scorpions (Reno, NV) basketball nipped the visiting Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV), 53-46 in Friday's league test.

The Scorpions (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Smith Valley (Smith, NV). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 1-18 record. In their last test, Smith Valley was tipped by Virginia City (Virginia City, NV), 55-37, in a non-league test.
