Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE), 46-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Hershey upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Panthers host St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE) to clash with the Irish in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 12. The Irish go into the bout with a record of 3-1. St. Patrick's won 48-28 in their recent non-league bout against Maxwell (Maxwell, NE)

Next up, the Haymakers clash with the Valentine (Valentine, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 12. Cozad will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 32-28 non-league win over Mullen (Mullen, NE).
