September 20, 2019: New Providence, NJ 07924 In Friday's league match, the host New Providence Pioneers football squad scored a big 41-7 victory over the Roselle Park Panthers.
In their next game, the Pioneers clash with the Bound Brook Crusaders (Bound Brook, NJ) in a Mid-State 38 - Union match, on Friday, September 27. New Providence will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 31-14 league win over South Hunterdon (Lambertville, NJ).
The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Dayton (Springfield, NJ). The Bulldogs enter the Mid-State 38 - Union match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Dayton was crushed by Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ), 14-2, in a league match.
