The Hoggard Vikings basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Ashley Screaming Eagle to 65 in the Vikings league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Hoggard upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host E.A. Laney (Wilmington, NC) to play the Buccaneers in a Mideastern 3A/4A bout on Friday, January 5. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a record of 9-4. E.A. Laney lost 71-52 in their recent league bout against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC)
