Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Vidalia Vikings (Vidalia, LA), 60-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Neville upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Wossman (Monroe, LA) to play the Wildcats in a 4A District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 15-3. Wossman won 62-49 in their recent league bout against Bastrop (Bastrop, LA)

Next up, the Vikings encounter the Sicily Island Tigers (Sicily Island, LA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 14. Vidalia will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record.
