North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Independence drops to Parkwood

April 10, 2019: Monroe, NC 28112

In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Parkwood Rebels lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-3 victory over the Independence Patriots.

The Rebels now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Charlotte Catholic for a Conference 14 test on Friday, April 12. Parkwood will face a Cougars squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Providence Day (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-7.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) in a Conference 15 test, on Thursday, April 11. Independence will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 6-4 record after their 18-3 league win over South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
