Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Paradise Honors Panthers (Surprise, AZ), 56-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Desert Ridge upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Jaguars host Marana (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Marana lost 63-57 in their recent non-league bout against Cholla (Tucson, AZ)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Paradise Honors will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 66-61 non-league loss to Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ).
