In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Desert Edge Scorpions football squad scored a good 42-12 victory over the Poston Butte Broncos.

In their next game, the Scorpions clash with the Peoria Panthers (Peoria, AZ) in a 4A West Valley match, on Friday, September 27. Desert Edge will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 4-0 record after their 54-12 non-league win over Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ).

The Broncos (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Peoria (Peoria, AZ). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 4-0 record.
