Kansas High School Basketball - Sterling knocked off by Conway Springs
December 8, 2018: Sterling, KS 67579 The Conway Springs Cardinals basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Sterling Black Bears to 39 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cardinals now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Douglass for a Central Plains contest on Tuesday, December 11. Conway Springs will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 46-32 non-league win over Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.
The Black Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Garden Plain (Garden Plain, KS). The Owls enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Garden Plain ran past Caney Valley (Caney, KS), 43-31, in a non-league contest.
