New York High School Basketball - St. Francis overwhelmed by Bishop Timon-St. Jude
January 30, 2015: Athol Springs, NY 14010 The Bishop Timon-St. Jude Tigers basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the host St. Francis Red Raiders to 61 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute for a Monsignor Martin contest on Wednesday, February 4. Bishop Timon-St. Jude will battle a Marauders team coming off a 71-60 league loss to Canisius (Buffalo, NY). The Marauders record now stands at 7-11.
The Red Raiders (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Hutchinson-Central Tech (Buffalo, NY). The Engineers come into the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Hutchinson-Central Tech triumphed over Riverside (Buffalo, NY), 87-42, in a league contest.
