The Leland Chargers basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Willow Glen Rams to 66 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Branham for a Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton contest on Wednesday, January 9. Leland will battle a Bruins team coming off a 51-46 league win over Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 6-6.

The Rams (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA). The Cougars enter the Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Evergreen Valley was nudged by Branham (San Jose, CA), 51-46, in a league contest.
