Loris Lions (Loris, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC), 46-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Loris upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Marion (Marion, SC) to play the Swamp Foxes in a bout on Monday, January 28. The Swamp Foxes go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Marion won 45-39 in their recent league bout against Lake City (Lake City, SC)

Next up, the Braves play the Aynor Blue Jackets (Aynor, SC) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 29. Cheraw will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Blue Jackets go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 28-27 league win over Lake City (Lake City, SC).
