North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), 12-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, North Iredell upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Raiders host North Wilkes (Hays, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, March 7. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 2-2. North Wilkes lost 7-5 in their recent non-league test against North Iredell (Olin, NC)

With the defeat, Alleghany falls to 0-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Walkertown (Walkertown, NC) to battle the Wolfpack in a non-league test on Thursday, March 7.
