Florida High School Softball - Gulf bounces Fivay
March 26, 2019: New Port Richey, FL 34652 The Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) softball routed the visiting Fivay Falcons (Hudson, FL), 19-4 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Buccaneers (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Central (Brooksville, FL). The Bears go into the 5A District 7 bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Central was routed by Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL), 13-11, in a non-league bout.
The Falcons now possess a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Hernando for a 5A District 7 bout on Wednesday, March 27. Fivay will confront a Leopards squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sickles (Tampa, FL). The Leopards record now stands at 10-1.
