Illinois High School Basketball - Taft fells Resurrection
December 1, 2018: Chicago, IL 60631 Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Resurrection Bandits (Chicago, IL), 42-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Eagles host North Lawndale (Chicago, IL) to play the Phoenix in a Chicago Public - Red North/West bout on Tuesday, December 4. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 4-2. North Lawndale won 51-28 in their recent league bout against Schurz (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Bandits play the St. Joseph Chargers (Westchester, IL) in a Girls Catholic - White bout, on Tuesday, December 4. Resurrection will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 66-27 non-league loss to MacArthur (Decatur, IL).
