California High School Basketball - River City falls to Monterey Trail

The Monterey Trail Mustangs basketball team scored 50 points and held the host River City Raiders to 38 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ponderosa for a non-league contest on Friday, December 5. Monterey Trail will play a Bruins squad coming off a 60-36 non-league win over Inderkum (Sacramento, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 3-1.

Next up, the Raiders play the Inderkum Tigers (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 5. River City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 60-36 non-league loss to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA).
