January 24, 2019: Manito, IL 61546 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL) and the host Midwest Central Raiders (Manito, IL), saw Calhoun's basketball squad wallop Midwest Central by a tally of 62-30.
With the victory, Calhoun improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Beardstown (Beardstown, IL) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 25. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 14-7. Beardstown lost 70-66 in their recent non-league challenge against Carrollton (Carrollton, IL)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Carrollton Hawks (Carrollton, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 26. Midwest Central will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 70-66 non-league win over Beardstown (Beardstown, IL).
