New York High School Basketball - Greene holds off Unatego
February 4, 2019: Greene, NY 13778 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Greene Trojans (Greene, NY) and the visiting Unatego Spartans (Otego, NY), saw Greene's basketball squad hold off Unatego by a tally of 47-44.
With the victory, Greene improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Bainbridge-Guilford (Bainbridge, NY) to confront the Bobcats in a Section 4 Midstate challenge on Wednesday, February 6. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Bainbridge-Guilford lost 65-38 in their recent league challenge against Walton (Walton, NY)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Laurens Central Leopards (Laurens, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 4. Unatego will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Leopards come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 78-36 non-league loss to Edmeston Central (Edmeston, NY).
