South Carolina High School Basketball - Voyager Academy tops Lancaster

December 31, 2014: Lancaster, SC 29720

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Voyager Academy Vikings (Durham, NC) and the host Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC), saw Voyager Academy's basketball squad knock off Lancaster by a tally of 78-67.

With the victory, Voyager Academy improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Westwood (Blythewood, SC) to play the Redhawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 1. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Bruins play the Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) in a AAA Region III test, on Friday, January 9. Lancaster will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record.
