Connecticut High School Basketball - Watertown ripped by Torrington
January 16, 2019: Torrington, CT 06790 The Torrington Red Raiders basketball team scored 90 points and held the visiting Watertown Indians to 54 in the Red Raiders league triumph on Wednesday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodland Regional for a Naugatuck Valley - Copper contest on Friday, January 18. Torrington will meet a Hawks team coming off a 71-64 league loss to Derby (Derby, CT). The Hawks record now stands at 6-6.
The Indians (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Waterbury, CT). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Kennedy was routed by Sacred Heart (Waterbury, CT), 77-57, in a league contest.
