DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars confront the Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 18. DeSoto Central will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS).
