California High School Basketball - Owyhee holds off North Tahoe

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Owyhee Braves (Owyhee, NV) and the host North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA), saw Owyhee's basketball squad hold off North Tahoe by a tally of 59-56.

With the victory, Owyhee improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 7. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Pershing County lost 57-40 in their recent non-league challenge against North Valleys (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Lakers confront the Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV) in a 2A Northern challenge, on Tuesday, December 11. North Tahoe will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 63-43 non-league loss to North Valleys (Reno, NV).
