Massachusetts High School Basketball - Lee nips Mahar Regional
January 26, 2019: Lee, MA 01238 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lee Wildcats (Lee, MA) and the visiting Mahar Regional Senators (Orange, MA), saw Lee's basketball squad hold off Mahar Regional by a tally of 45-43.
With the victory, Lee improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Drury (North Adams, MA) to play the Blue Devils in a Berkshire - South challenge on Monday, January 28. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Drury won 66-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Monument Mountain (Great Barrington, MA)
Next up, the Senators play the Ware Indians (Ware, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 28. Mahar Regional will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 72-50 non-league loss to Hopkins Academy (Hadley, MA).
