Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Citrus Hurricanes (Inverness, FL) and the visiting Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL), saw Citrus's basketball squad overcome Hernando by a tally of 70-60.

With the victory, Citrus improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Dunnellon (Dunnellon, FL) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 12. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Dunnellon lost 80-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Forest (Ocala, FL)

Next up, the Leopards confront the South Sumter Raiders (Bushnell, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 14. Hernando will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record.
