September 16, 2016: Gibbon, NE 68840 The St. Paul Wildcats football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Gibbon Buffaloes to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.
The Wildcats now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Arcadia/Loup City for a C2 District 6 battle on Friday, September 23. St. Paul will play a Rebels squad coming off a 12-6 non-league loss to Cross County (Stromsburg, NE). The Rebels record now stands at 1-2.
Coming up next, the Buffaloes play the Southern Valley Eagles (Oxford, NE) in a C2 District 7 battle, on Friday, September 23. Gibbon will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 38-35 non-league loss to Bayard (Bayard, NE).
