North Carolina High School Soccer - Smoky Mountain overwhelmed by Pisgah
March 20, 2019: Canton, NC 28716 The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) and the visiting Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC), saw Pisgah's soccer squad beat Smoky Mountain by a count of 4-0.
The Bears now hold a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to Brevard for a Mountain 6 2A test on Friday, March 22. Pisgah will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Smoky Mountain drops to 1-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC) to meet the Black Hawks in a non-league test on Friday, March 22. The Black Hawks come into the test with a record of 2-7. North Buncombe lost 7-1 in their recent league test against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC)
