Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Gibbon Buffaloes (Gibbon, NE) and the visiting Minden Whippets (Minden, NE), saw Gibbon's basketball squad overcome Minden by a tally of 56-48.

With the victory, Gibbon improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Shelton (Shelton, NE) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 7. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Shelton lost 58-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE)

Next up, the Whippets confront the Ainsworth Bulldogs (Ainsworth, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. Minden will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 90-79 non-league loss to Burwell (Burwell, NE).
