California High School Softball - Marin Catholic bounces Novato
April 16, 2019: Novato, CA 94947 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Marin Catholic Wildcats (Kentfield, CA) and the host Novato Hornets (Novato, CA), witnessed Marin Catholic's softball squad prevail over Novato by a count of 14-2.
The Wildcats now sport a 14-1 record. They play next when they travel to San Marin for a Marin County match on Wednesday, April 17. Marin Catholic will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 17-2 league win over Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Novato moves to 2-10 on the season. The Hornets travel to Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA) to meet the Red Tailed Hawks in a Marin County match on Thursday, April 18. The Red Tailed Hawks go into the match with a record of 7-9. Tamalpais lost 11-1 in their recent league match against Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA)
