Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host West Point Warriors (Cullman, AL), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Thunderbolts now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairhope for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27. Northmont will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 4-0 league win over McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 23-3.

With the loss, West Point falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host Arab (Arab, AL) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 0-6. Arab lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Boaz (Boaz, AL)
