Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) and the host Calhoun Yellowjackets (Calhoun, GA), saw Darlington's basketball squad hold off Calhoun by a tally of 61-54.

With the victory, Darlington improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Chattahoochee lost 57-55 in their recent league challenge against Centennial (Roswell, GA)

Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Cass Colonels (White, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Calhoun will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
