The Los Fresnos Falcons basketball team (Los Fresnos, TX), was toppled 61-53 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX)

The Sabercats now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 8. Vela will confront a Trojans team coming off a 61-50 non-league win over Harlingen (Harlingen, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 3-6.

The Falcons (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rowe (McAllen, TX). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Rowe beat Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX), 50-44, in a non-league battle.
