The Lancaster Golden Gales football team (Lancaster, OH), was knocked off 31-21 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Upper Arlington Golden Bears (Columbus, OH)

The Golden Bears (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Westland (Galloway, OH). The Cougars come into the Ohio Capital - Central challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Westland was knocked off by Olentangy Orange (Lewis Center, OH), 52-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Gales now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Grove City for a Ohio Capital - Ohio challenge on Friday, October 4. Lancaster will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 38-7 non-league loss to Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH). The Greyhounds record now stands at 1-4.
