Kansas High School Basketball - Sterling overwhelms Southeast of Saline
January 17, 2019: Sterling, KS 67579 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Sterling Black Bears (Sterling, KS) and the visiting Southeast of Saline Trojans (Gypsum, KS), saw Sterling's basketball squad wallop Southeast of Saline by a tally of 65-41.
With the victory, Sterling improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Black Bears travel to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, KS) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 25. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Hillsboro lost 35-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Republic County (Belleville, KS)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Ellsworth Bearcats (Ellsworth, KS) in a North Central AA challenge, on Friday, January 25. Southeast of Saline will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 43-37 non-league loss to Hoisington (Hoisington, KS).
