The White River Valley Wolverines basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Springs Valley Blackhawks to 32 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wolverines now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loogootee for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 29. White River Valley will meet a Lions team coming off a 57-51 non-league loss to Tecumseh (Lynnville, IN). The Lions record now stands at 12-1.

The Blackhawks (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hancock County (Lewisport, KY). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record.
