The J.H. Rose Rampants baseball team (Greenville, NC), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC)

The Pirates now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manteo for a non-league outing on Monday, March 7. Perquimans will face a Redskins team coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Riverside-Martin (Williamston, NC). The Redskins record now stands at 2-0.

Next, the Rampants face the Farmville Central Jaguars (Farmville, NC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, March 8. J.H. Rose will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Jaguars enter the outing with a 0-2 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC).
