Washington High School Football - Skyline beat Newport
October 7, 2011: Bellevue, WA 98006 The Skyline Spartans football squad scored 49 points and restricted the host Newport Knights to 20 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.
The Spartans now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson for a non-league battle on Friday, October 14. Skyline will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 42-16 league win over Cascade (Everett, WA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 4-2.
The Knights now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Redmond for a 4A KingCo - Crest challenge on Friday, October 14. Newport will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 48-10 league loss to Issaquah (Issaquah, WA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-6.
