In Wednesday's non-league outing, the St. John's Northwestern Military Academy Lancers (Delafield, WI) basketball squad edged the visiting New Berlin West Vikings (New Berlin, WI), by a margin of 74-71.

The Lancers (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Living Word Lutheran (Jackson, WI). The Timberwolves go into the Midwest Classic outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Living Word Lutheran held off St. Francis (St. Francis, WI), 68-60, in a league outing.
