Selma Bears (Selma, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Sanger Apaches (Sanger, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Selma upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Bears travel to Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA) to battle the Golden Bears in a non-league test on Saturday, March 9. The Golden Bears come into the test with a record of 5-1. Sierra Pacific won 16-0 in their recent league test against Farmersville (Farmersville, CA)

With the defeat, Sanger falls to 5-2 on the season. The Apaches travel to Edison (Fresno, CA) to battle the Tigers in a County/Metro test on Friday, March 8. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-7. Edison lost 9-5 in their recent non-league test against Redwood (Visalia, CA)
