Maryland High School Basketball - Stone nips Westlake
February 8, 2019: Waldorf, MD 20601 Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD), 67-64 in a league bout.
With the win, Stone upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Cougars host La Plata (La Plata, MD) to play the Warriors in a Southern Maryland bout on Wednesday, February 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-16.
Next up, the Wolverines play the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) in a Southern Maryland bout, on Wednesday, February 13. Westlake will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record.
