The Piedmont Highlanders basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Albany Cougars to 14 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dougherty Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 5.

The Cougars (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Vallejo (Vallejo, CA). The Red Hawks enter the Tri-County - Stone contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Vallejo triumphed over Armijo (Fairfield, CA), 52-28, in a non-league contest.
